PRP Lifting Infos

PRP - For a rejuvenated and radiant complexion!

The so-called Vampire Lifting or PRP Lifting ("Platelet-Rich Plasma") is an injection method for regenerating and refreshing the collagen skin structure. It is a minimally invasive method of skin rejuvenation and wrinkle treatment through autologous blood therapy.

How can my own blood be used for skin rejuvenation?

Our blood supplies the entire body with nutrients and oxygen and aids in the removal of toxins. In particular, the cell-free component of the blood contains growth factors and other blood components that contribute to skin rejuvenation and biostimulation. This concept is applied in the so-called vampire facelift. First, your own blood is drawn, centrifuged, processed, and the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is used for treatment.

How does the vampire facelift work?

The processed autologous blood is enriched with hyaluronic acid and injected into the areas of the skin to be treated. The growth factors and hyaluronic acid stimulate collagen production and the formation of new skin and subcutaneous cells. Additionally, hyaluronic acid provides long-lasting moisture. The result is firmer, smoother, and younger-looking skin.

What side effects can occur?

The vampire facelift is generally low-risk and has few side effects. Possible side effects at the blood draw site include redness, swelling, or a hematoma. As with any invasive procedure, there is a slight risk of infection, which is significantly reduced by sterile techniques.

Can intolerances occur?

Since only the body's own substances are used in PRP lifting, intolerances or allergies are almost excluded. PRP lifting leads to a very natural improvement in the skin's appearance and is therefore suitable for most people. However, it is not used in cases of autoimmune diseases, cancer, acute skin diseases, hepatitis, HIV, blood clotting disorders, neurodermatitis or psoriasis on the face, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

How often should the treatment be repeated?

For optimal and long-lasting results, we initially recommend three treatments at intervals of four to six weeks. Depending on the skin type and the skin's response to the therapy, further treatments may be required for optimal results.

What aftercare is important following the treatment?

After the plasma injection with a mesogun, several punctures occur across the entire face. The skin needs time to recover, so no makeup should be applied initially and the skin should be protected from sun exposure. Additionally, tanning beds, sauna visits, intense sports, and swimming pools should be avoided for 48 hours.
