The skin is the largest organ of the human body. Therefore, we should pay extra attention to our skin! To do something good for the skin, in addition to our other treatments, the Meso-Therapy is suitable. Meso-Therapy is used to improve blood circulation in the skin and combat skin impurities and wrinkles.
How does Meso-Therapy work?
In mesotherapy, a complex of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals, trace elements, antioxidants, and nucleic acids is injected directly into the skin, where it can exert its effects. These active ingredients nourish the skin from within with the nutrients it needs for a healthy, long-lasting, and more beautiful complexion. Thanks to the use of the Pistor gun, the active ingredient is evenly distributed and injected. The injection creates a depot of active ingredients that unfolds its effects in the treated area.
What does a gun have to do with a better complexion?
In mesotherapy, an active ingredient is injected directly into the skin using a so-called Pistor gun. The Pistor gun was developed by a French doctor in the 1950s and is now used worldwide. The name "Meso" refers to the mesodermal origin of skin and connective tissue.
Why should I undergo mesotherapy?
Our skin accompanies us throughout our lives and is exposed to many stresses, such as temperature fluctuations, mechanical stress, and potential pathogens. Through the constant renewal of our upper skin layer, our skin can withstand these stresses. However, the cold in the winter months causes dry skin, which can protect us less well from external pathogens. In addition, the blood circulation in our skin is impaired in cold weather, depriving it of the nutrients it needs for a healthy and beautiful complexion. But even in the sunnier months, it's worth doing something good for your skin. Although we usually associate the sun with positive aspects, it mainly harms our skin. This manifests itself, for example, in possible cell damage from UV radiation.
The mesotherapy provides our skin with nutrients and stimulates blood circulation through the injections. This allows the skin to regenerate faster and better. The result is healthier, more beautiful, and younger-looking skin.
Can mesotherapy also be used for hair loss?
Absolutely: YES! Similar to the skin, the aging process results in an undersupply of nutrients to the hair roots, which they need for a healthy hair cycle. Additionally, the physical stimulation from mesotherapy, performed with a very fine needle, leads to improved blood circulation, which further nourishes the hair roots.
What side effects can occur?
The injection may cause redness, slight bleeding, or small bruises (hematomas). Since the active ingredient is applied only intradermally (in the skin), no systemic side effects occur.
How often should I use mesotherapy and what should I consider during treatment?
Mesotherapy can be repeated every three weeks. Since the treatment involves multiple injections into the skin, it's especially important to follow proper aftercare. The treated skin should be protected from UV radiation and intense sun exposure for 72 hours. Visits to saunas and swimming pools should also be avoided.
